The authors are keen for the reader to learn about the advances in the field and have included details of these breakthroughs. The pathology textbook I bought as a student was just under half the price of this one and was left mostly on the shelf being largely unreadable with monochrome only illustrations and no extra features. That makes this book good value for money I would say!

Excelent book!!! I absolutely love it!!!5
I like this book a lot! It has the main information about basic pathology as it title says... I prefer to read it in english cause the traduction on spanish aren't so good but I really like it, it has an excelent lever for medical students and it's very interactive with images and figures that make it so easy to read...

The information it well organized so as the pictures and the free access online system give me so much advantages cause I can read it anywhere I am from my ipod

Excellent in-depth companion to a BRS or RapidReview5
In studying for classes, I found notes, BRS Pathology, and Robbins to be a great balance between high-yield terms and concepts and depth of detail tested for in classes. It's nice to have a more thorough explanation to certain concepts and disease processes, but for board prep this would be too much reading.

user friendly5
much easier and faster to read than big Robbins. probably leaves out a few details but it's a good tradeoff when you're taking several classes with no time to read it all. compatible with all the materials that go with big Robbins, like the review book and the atlas.
