Very succint and great review info source. Wouldn't use as like a textbook, more like a review book. Would recommend.

Quality resource4
I haven't actually read much of the book yet, but what I have read so far is great for review. Many of my classmates also feel the same (I am a second year med student). I wish I had bought it earlier in the school year as a companion to my studies. However, it does not replace a primary text for gaining understanding because it is just review outlines. I like the color pictures (a pro over BRS Pathology).

this + audio lectures = KO step 15
this book covers everything... except psych. absolutely EVERYTHING! if you read this book and then follow along as you listen to the "goljan lectures" you are guaranteed not to forget any of it. the goljan lectures follow the content of this book bit by bit, and include lots of funny anecdotes and ways to remember things that he would never publish in an actual book. i would dedicate almost 1/3 of your study time for the step 1 to this book. its that good.

first aid is a list of facts to remember, this is the opposite. it also covers every subject, but INTEGRATES, EXPLAINS, and shows mechanisms of disease... the integrations are amazing, it ties together all the loose ends. WHY, not what!

ok just buy it already, its a lifesaver.
